Methodology & notes
- Scope: Equity funding rounds by Indonesia-headquartered startups, publicly announced between 1 Jan 2026 and 4 Aug 2026. Debt facilities, grants, M&A/acquisition deals and unconfirmed/rumoured raises are excluded.
- Sources: DS GROUP internal funding tracker (base file), DealStreetAsia (incl. Deals Barometer and Q1 2026 SE Asia Deal Review), Tech in Asia, e27, DailySocial.id / RISE newsletter, and company/investor announcements. Each row links to its primary source where available.
- Undisclosed amounts: Deals where the round size was not publicly disclosed are included in deal counts and sector/stage breakdowns, but excluded from all $ totals and charts — shown in the table as "Undisclosed."
- Discrepancy note: Aggregate figures here may differ slightly from single-source trackers (e.g. DealStreetAsia's monthly Deals Barometer) due to differing methodologies — some trackers exclude debt-like instruments (convertible notes, bridge extensions) or count only deals with disclosed amounts.
- Instrument tagging: Each deal is tagged Equity or Convertible Note. AgriAku ($5M) and Kargo Technologies ($7M) are confirmed convertible note / bridge rounds per DealStreetAsia's reporting — both are debt-equity hybrids but are included in $ totals, consistent with this tracker's scope. Pure venture debt (e.g. McEasy's InnoVen facility, see below) is tagged separately and excluded from totals entirely.
- AgriAku's convertible note was reported as "$4–6 million"; the midpoint ($5.0M) is used in all totals.
- McEasy raised a $6M Series B equity round led by Singapore-based Integra Partners (Jun 9, 2026, per DealStreetAsia; lead investor per Tech in Asia). Tech in Asia separately reported the round at $9M total, with InnoVen Capital providing a growth debt facility alongside the equity — but the exact equity/debt split of that $9M figure is not confirmed by any source we found (the $3M gap is not a disclosed number, just the arithmetic difference). Per this tracker's scope (equity only, debt excluded — see first bullet), only the confirmed $6M equity portion is counted here; the InnoVen debt facility is not included in any total pending a disclosed amount.
